This week follow me around New York, I got invited to a Nintendo collab event and had a meal in an unforgettable location.

Comfy and fluffy Mario PJs?!

What a dream come true Peaches, I got to meet Mario himself! As part of a super cute collab of the clothing brand Gelato Pique and Mario, I was invited to this awesome event. And real life Mario was going around taking pictures with everyone! The clothes were so plush and comfy that it felt like being wrapped in a nice warm blanket.

As part of the event, I got to play a bunch of Mario games on different consoles and even on a gigantic screen. The event was hosted in the Nintendo store in New York which is right next to Rockefeller center, such a cool location. After this event I got a coffee and a slice of quiche. A few doors down, I found a cute little bookshop and bought myself a few books; one of my favorite ways to treat myself!

Lunch above the clouds

What's a better way to enjoy living in New York than to get a great view of the entire city? I went to the restaurant The Peak at the very top of the Hudson Yards and the view was beyond stunning. The restaurant is right above the observation deck called The Edge and you can go out on the deck after having a meal here without having to buy an additional ticket.

While the view was stunning, the food was a bit of a disappointment. I only took pictures of a few of the dishes but the star of the show was 100% this milk bread with chicken liver mousse. The bread effortlessly pulls apart, warm and fluffy in the middle, and salty with a bite on the crust. Together with the spreads, it's a rich, warm and fluffy delight.

This seared tuna was pretty bland and not very fresh tasting in my opinion. I'm not sure what the white sauce was but it didn't really taste like anything and the rice was undercooked. So wasn't a fan of this one but it looked pretty!

This was a fluke sashimi (raw fish) with pickled cucumbers and radishes on top of it with a coconut cream sauce. The fish was ok, a little fishy for my taste, and the pickles on the top were really cute but not flavorful. The coconut cream was probably my favorite part of the dish!

So overall, I probably wouldn't go back for lunch. Maybe dinner is better and the view at night would be completely different, for another time!

Sophie and I match!

This week I had a lot of modeling work and Sophie would give me this face when she knew I had to leave her in the apartment. Some of my clients are kind enough to let me bring Sophie. And honestly, Sophie is so well behaved that I feel comfortable bringing her. I'd be so embarrassed if she was a terror running around biting ankles :D I thought Sophie and I matched well in this outfit and I can't get over her ridiculously cute eyes. She knows how to get me in the feels!

This week I'm going to meet up with some friends to watch a movie and I'll give you a review of it next week! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead Peaches!
